Reading Stars of the Milky Way and Scrutinizing Gems are Always an Exponent’s Domain

I was unaware that the island of Sri Lanka had been blessed with endless streams of precious gems. Today, whenever I hold a gem between my fingers, I envision the beauty of the island and its rich soil. I enjoy the purest physical pleasure from the energy I receive from these wonderful gifts of the creator. I feel complete and whole, as though the perfection of the gems is somehow transferred to me.

Zeyan’s Donation of 70 Sapphire Crystals to The Musuem

Zeyan’s Donation of 70 Sapphire Crystals to The Musuem

We are indeed fortunate to have you in our community and enjoy your company at Museum events.  With thoughtful friends such as you, we are expanding our mineral collection and plan to create an appropriate exhibit area for visitors to enjoy these gifts from nature. It is awe-inspiring to view such items knowing many of them have been in the making for thousands of years.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Museum staff, we thank you.
